Lately it seems that everyone and their mother is after a working facebook poker bot to help them win more facebook poker chips. But can a bot really play facebook texas holdem poker well enough to win you chips reliably on a regular basis? Are facebook poker bots really just a set it and forget it program that you can leave running overnight so you can wake up in the morning to 100 million facebook poker chips? Despite endless searching on poker forums, there doesn’t seem to be a straightforward answer.

Poker bots tend to fall into 1 of 3 main categories:

1) Independently programmed bots: These bots do exactly what the name implies, they read the cards you’re dealt and then automatically respond by clicking check, raise, fold etc. Their decisions are based upon a very detailed and complicated set of algorithms that must be programmed into them so that they have a clear set of instructions on what to do in each situation. These are usually very advanced and a person needs to have a good understanding of programming to be able to tweak and modify these types of bots to customize their levels of play.

2) Third party decision brain bots: These types of bots are created by third parties and usually consist of a pre-written odds calculators that instantly calculates the number of outs and percentages of winning for each hand. Some examples of these are Poker Inspector and Poker Android. Some of these programs feed you the odds of each hand and let you decide how many facebook poker chips to wager, while others make the decision for you.

3) Stand alone applications: These types of bots are hard to find, and are usually the most advanced because of the amount of variable they take into consideration, such as number of players, previous hand betting etc.

So do any of these facebook poker bots actually work well enough to consistently win facebook poker chips, or would you better off buying your cat a laptop to grind away at the poker tables all day? Judging by the information available online, unless you have a good understanding of programming or at least a very good understanding of computers in general, it’s going to be very difficult for anyone to use one of these programs because of the level of customization needed to obtain success. You will never find an out of the box poker bot that is ready to go with one click, there are always variables that need to be set to acclimate the program to the unique game that you are playing.

In other words, unless you know what you’re doing, you’d probably be better off buying your cat a laptop.

Hot girls on Facebook aren't always "girls"

What is it about women that makes guys lose their all common sense in poker? Have you ever seen how guys react to a girl with a hot profile picture in Facebook Texas Holdem poker? The moment they enter the room every guy at the table sends her a friend request. Then come the random gifts of champage or hearts, followed by the  smooth one liners.. “yor hot”.

Did you ever stop and wonder just how many of those girls who play facebook texas holdem poker are actually really beautiful women? Do gorgeous women generally sit around playing facebook poker? It seems like all it takes to fool naive guys in poker is some pictures of a hot young girl and they lose all common sense. The truth is, most of the these so called super models are actually just guys desperate for facebook poker chips. When they can’t find facebook poker bots, or facebook poker hacks, or cheats for facebook poker, they swallow their pride and turn to whoring themselves out in the poker tables hoping to score some pokerchips from guys desperate enough to fall for their tricks.

Noone really gets hurt I guess since the guys think they’re having a conversation with a beautiful girl and the “girls” are getting free facebook poker chips. But it just goes to show ya how far a pair of boobs.. or even a picture of boobs will get in you in this world.

losing is never fun..

1)  Beginners tilt in poker very easily - As undisciplined beginners, players tend to tilt very easily every chance they get.  All it takes is a slight change of luck and a few bad beats to put us in tilt mode, as we attempt to win all our facebook poker chips back in a single, glorious hand. As we all know, this almost never works out.

2) Beginners tend to hope for too much - Instead of playing to win facebook poker chips, we sometimes play just to get lucky. The thrill of landing the flush on the river and winning the huge pot of facebook chips seems to outweight the thrill of playing with discipline and winning smaller pots.  But going for huge pots of chips always ends the same after a certain amount of time, with zero facebook poker chips. 4) Beginners don’t fold enough - As beginners, we see folding a hand not simple as just folding, but rather we see it as losing the hand. Knowing when to fold is an important tool for the texas holdem poker player, not an admission of defeat. One of the biggest mistakes a beginner can make is simply just not folding enough.

5) Beginners are too focused on winning - I know this sounds ridiculous but it’s true of all beginners. They’re so busy chasing the big win that they never stop and think what might happen if they actually lose the hand. They never play defensively to ensure that they keep some facebook chips aside to play another day. All they can think of is how great it will be when they win the huge pot, but if they don’t they’re always left wishing they had used better judgement kept some chips aside.
